Mr. Kasimov is a development consultant with over 10 years of professional experience of working with international agencies. Before starting his career as consultant, he gained valuable experience in development projects with KfW. Close coordination with various stakeholders led to successful implementation of KfW-financed Rural Financing Programme with involvement of local partner financing institutions, such as Eskhata Bank, Imon International, Humo, the First Microfinance Bank and Arvand. Graduation of the Master programme “Development Economics and International Studies” from the University of Erlangen in Germany in combination with two internships in the offices of KfW Development Bank in Frankfurt and Georgia allowed him to obtain modern academic knowledge and international experience in SME financing. Deep involvement in EBRD Climadapt project strengthened his practical skills in financing of climate resilient technologies in SME, agricultural and residential sectors. Since 2019 he is involved in implementation of Green Economy Finance Facility of Tajikistan. He is also very skilled trainer having conducted numerous capacity building seminars and trainings for PFIs’ loan officers and clients.
